Shaye Cly Tackett grew up in Gilmer, Texas.  She received a Master of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 2003 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Texas in 2007.

    Shaye is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.

    Shaye's practice is primarily centered around probate and estate administration and the taxation of business entities,including corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.

    Prior to entering law school, Shaye worked at Saville, Dodgen & Co, a CPA firm in Dallas, Texas.

    Shaye and her husband, Tim, live in North Austin with their daughters, Lisa, age 7, and Laci, age 3.
