Rudy brings a CPA's eye to some of the most complex areas of the law. From a solid background in business formation and planning to estate and tax issues, Rudy is dedicated to providing the highest-quality legal advice to his clients. Having recently completed his 40th tax season, his decades of experience and deep understanding of complicated tax issues, alongside fundamental business law principles, continue to help business owners, individuals, and professionals succeed.

A dedicated advocate for the local community, Rudy maintains active service on the Austin Community Foundation Board of Governors, the Austin-PBS Board of Directors and the Dell Seton Medical Center Community Leadership Council. He is deeply connected to his alma mater, serving on the University of Texas at Austin Planned Giving Advisory Board, and the Chancellor's Council Executive Committee for The University of Texas System. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors of Austin Capital Bank, SSB.

Rudy has previously been active in various civic organizations, including Leadership Austin, the Texas Lyceum, Communities in Schools, St. Gabriel's Catholic School, and the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is the recipient of the 2013 Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year, the 2014 Con Mi Madre Corazon Award, and the 2015 Community Leadership Circle Award presented by the University of Texas at Austin.

Outside the office, Rudy is an avid traveler who has visited six of the seven continents. A passionate sports fan, he closely follows University of Texas athletics and the San Antonio Spurs. He and his wife reside in Austin and are proud parents to a daughter, a fellow UT graduate who lives and works in professional sports management in Dallas.
